The owner of this company is extremely rude. Calling his customer (me) dumb nut and with all kind of vulgarities. Non-responsive to my messages until I threatened him to contact 3rd party assistance. Refused to refund did not want to accept responsibilities. Image1, shows how rude his reply was when I asked why he went ahead and ship another rotten produce instead of refunding me. Image2, he was saying that I cant afford a lawyer to sue him (So he can do whatever he want to scam people?) just because he thinks I couldn't afford a lawyer? What kind of a business owner is this? They are scammers, liars, bunch of thieves.

I’ve purchased from this company few years ago with no problem. I placed an order again. Kept checking the status and it was still pending for 3 weeks! I emailed them with no response. Can’t get hold of them because the phone was disconnected!! I can’t believe I have wasted my time with this worthless company. I had to file a dispute with my credit company to get a refund. Do not order from this company!! You’ll waste your time for nothing!

This was my first and last time ever shopping@ store# 42 I personally don't know if it's @ problem with shoplifting but I am disabled was followed thoughout my whole time trying to shop upon my check out their was no one to help bag my items 133.38 dollars upon leaving I expressed to the mgr who made my shopping experince very uncomtable I will never again shop there and will pass this to my other shopping friends who all shop@ Walmart!!!!!!!!!

I place my order on July -26-16 and today is a Augost 15-16 and I haven't receive it , I not haven't receive a email notifying me my order has been shipped, this is the first time this happen to me, I'm been a customer for. Ore than 3 years, I'm really need my product by Augost 24-15 and I need to know what's is going on with my order . Please help me to resolve this big problem, I need to start to make my cake Augost 25 and the big day will be Augost 27. I call several times and no body answer the phone, please call me as soon is possible 180*-353-****.

I warn you do not buy from them!!!!

I never had any problems with them until now. I order my favorite Indonesian items from this website on Sunday, July 24, 2016. I never got any confirmation about shipping information. I am waiting for 2 weeks, still no confirmation. Checking their website again, it is said packaged but never have the shipping information. I sent the email, no response. Complain to their website, no response. Call them, no response. Post my message in their facebook page, they removed my post without any resolve. Finally, I cannot stand it and call my credit card company. If you have bad management, then please don't charge anybody's credit card. It is just FRAUD!!!!!

They sell stale food. No customer service. Buyer Beware!

I placed two orders for fortune cookies. The first order came in and they were stale.

I contacted them and received a refund. I asked when a fresh batch would be coming in, and was told six weeks. Six weeks later I placed a new order for the cookies. I received them, and once again stale!!!

Only this time, even more stale! I emailed them 4 days ago to get a refund and have them pick up their *** cookies. I haven't heard anything back. I re-emailed them this morning.

Do not shop at this place.

I'm pretty sure they are selling food at the end of or past its shelf-life on a regular basis. I will never order from them again!

8/20/2015 DO NOT ORDER FROM THE BRITISH FOOD DEPOT... I too ordered from the British Food Depot.

The licorice was marked sell by 4/2015, we tasted it and did not even taste like licorice, and the Birds Custard Pudding was stale and would not even thicken, and even added more puddingmix After it all cooled prior to throwing it away, it had turned to colored yellow water, not even thick at all.

I will not order NOTHING from this place again. I'll just stay with Amazon for the good ol' Swizzler licorice and make my own Custard from now on.

Absolutely zero customer service

I had been having no issues with efood depot, then I received the wrong order on $40 worth of noodles. I left two voice messages and sent an email - absolutely no reply. I couldn't RMC them, because the shipping bill had the ordered noodles, even though the box contained 120 units of a different kind. I had ordered from efooddepot repeatedly over the last 3 years. I guess that was of absolutely no importance, because they don't even attempt to contact you. Wasn't an issue with language barrier, they just never responded or returned any communication. We can speak Malay, English, and a little spanish - but none of that matters when they aren't even able to be contacted. Will order from someone else from now on.

I know this site is mainly for complaining, but I do not believe it is fair to Efooddepot. There are many complaints about them, but I have had not one bad experience with them and I have been purchasing their items for a while now. They have been the best grocery store so far and they make it easy to order items online. Efooddepot Offers great prices, great customer service and great quality. I received everything I ordered quickly and it was all well packaged. The items are of good quality and their indomie noodles are delicious. I definitely recommend this store!

Ship fast and great products

Since I live quite far from Chinatown and any Asian stores, I had been looking for Asian online supermarkets and I am so glad I have found efoodepot. They carry wide range of Asian products, especially the Chinese food section is my all-time favorite. Be able to eat some home comfort food, make my home sick illness much better. Efooddepot well packaged my order and shipped it really fast. All glass bottles of seasonings arrived safe and sound. So happy to get my home town made soy sauces, a taste of home makes me feel good. Products are nice and fresh. I can’t say better things about this store. They are great and try them out.
